Hey Cupertino!  Whether you're a seasoned veteran at Apple or your kids go to Monta Vista, we know that you know code!  Cupertino has one of the highest concentrations of engineers in the bay area, and we're excited to have a Coder School there!

Coder School is a new kind of after school coding program that focuses on the individuality of each student, customizing our teachings depending on their skills and the desires.  From graphical languages like Snap or Scratch to more powerful stuff like Python or Javascript and even the advanced coding like Java and C++, we're ready to inspire you and amaze you.  Drop us a line, check out our video below, or swing by to find out more!

Our Programs

Our bread and butter is our weekly after-school programs, run throughout the year. Coding takes practice, and we believe getting kids to code consistently throughout the year is the only way they'll really learn to code! Check out our programs below, and be sure to check with us for more details!

Code Coaching®

Our core program teaches kids in a customized and engaging way, with a super-small 2:1 instructor ratio.

App Team

Our premium program combines Code Coaching with group sessions, and a presentation at our Coder Fairs.

Code Class

We also offer traditional larger ratio classes where students build various games using our fun curriculum.

Coding Camps

During the summer and other breaks, we offer weekly camps with a different theme for different ages.

Meet the Staff

Hi! I'm Lacey McAdoo, General Manager of theCoderSchool Cupertino. Let me just say how excited I am to be here! It is so awesome to be part of a team that is dedicated to helping children learn coding and logic while also showing how much fun it can be to problem-solve and create! All of our coaches are outstanding, and it's so amazing to see a student's face light up when they grasp a new concept or reach a goal. I truly believe that arming the future generation with knowledge and a sense of fun is an important responsibility, and theCoderSchool is helping to do just that!

Swing into our school and there's a good chance you'll run into our Coding Coordinator, Sam, who hangs out at our front desk and can help answer questions about our programs, move your schedule around, or just chat about the latest cool goings-on in Cupertino.

As for me, my background is primarily in e-commerce, and I did my undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas before completing my MFA at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I also proudly hold the title of "World's Coolest Aunt"...according to my nieces and nephew! Swing by or email me anytime at  Hope to see you soon!
