Guidelines for Healthy Learning
The health and safety of our students, staff and families is our highest priority. The recent outbreak of coronavirus/COVID-19 has reminded us to be ever vigilant in minimizing the risk of our students from the spread of communicable diseases where we can. theCoderSchool is tracking the situation through both The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The World Health Organization, and will continue to update our policies to reflect the latest information we have.
Based on recommendations from health officials, the following are theCoderSchool’s current guidelines.
- All theCoderSchool locations are currently offering remote learning options only. Some locations may bring staff into the school for the remote sessions. No students are allowed in our schools at the moment.
- Any locations (e.g., in California and New York) with a shelter-in-place or similar order will operate fully remotely (all staff and students remote). Other schools around the country are required to follow suit if similar directives are ordered.
- Any locations not currently operating fully remotely have been strongly encouraged to do so immediately, regardless of their local government orders.
As the situation is very fluid and quickly changing, our guidelines may be updated as more information about the Coronavirus or other similar illnesses become available.
In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy in these exceptional times!
