My first exposure to coding was in fifth grade in robotics club. My passion for computer science developed after I participated in the Girls Who Code 7-week Summer Immersion program before my junior year. I took AP Computer Science that school year and determined that I want to pursue CS in college :) My favorite aspect of CS is the creativity—I love tackling problems as there are countless number of solutions. Along with teaching at theCoderSchool, I teach kids how to swim at the local YMCA. Aside from CS, other passions of mine include playing the flute, swimming, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs! -Coach Hannah
