    3d printing at theCoderSchool This camp takes its campers into the world of 3D printing. 3D printers are growing in popularity and industries are always finding new ways to utilize 3D printing more which makes this exploration even more valuable. The bonus is that 3D printing is also super fun and campers get to make cool 3D physical objects!

    Which Teaching Platform Is Used in Coding Camps?

    This summer day camp will use Tinkercad or a similar software for the design portion. The printer will usually be a Bambu or similar. Please check with your specific location to get the details if interested. Campers will get to design and see their designs come to life when printed in 3D.

    What Coding Concepts and Languages Will Students Learn at Camp?

    Campers will get a chance to learn how 3D printers work. They will learn to navigate a 3D modeling software and have a chance to export their models and print them out while learning hands-on printing and troubleshooting. Post-processing techniques such as sanding, painting, and assembling may be incorporated as well.

    What Skill Level Is Appropriate for 3d Camp?

    3D is aimed towards our beginner/intermediate coders. No coding experience is required. This 3D printing camp is ideal for students ages 9 and up. Please check with us for high school ages. Interested in a deeper dive? Ask us about our after school program and other tech camps!
