With over 22 years of experience in education, and studied Early Childhood Education. Randy began his career as a Pre-School and Kindergarten teacher and has spent many years coaching football, baseball, and gymnastics. He dedicated 11 years to the gymnastics community in Torrance and, more recently, served as the Center Director of a Computer Science and STEM education program for six years. During that time, he had the privilege of witnessing over 1,000 young adults thrive in the computer science community, many of whom have gone on to become educators themselves.
In his previous role, Randy successfully grew his coding school to become the #1 center within the company, out of over 400 locations. In 2021, he was honored to receive the "Director of the Year" award, a title he holds in high regard. Randy is eager to bring the same level of excellence to The Coder School, which is already a vital part of the community.
On a personal note, Randy is a proud husband, and a father of two boys. He enjoys music, taking his boys to Knott's Berry Farm, playing video games, and he considers himself a "Sports Nut.". When Randy is away from The Coder School, you’ll often find him enjoying '90s rock or being a dedicated LA Kings, Miami Dolphins, LA Angels and a USC Football fan
Randy looks forward to meeting your family and supporting your child as they grow into a successful young adult. He encourages families to reach out anytime—he’s here to help.
Hello Fellow Parents!
Welcome to The Coder School! I am so thrilled to bring the #1 Coding School in Silicon Valley to SoCal. My name is Dipali Patel and I am the Owner/General Manager for both the Redondo Beach/Torrance and Cerritos/La Palma locations. I am a graduate of UC Davis with a degree in Psychology. I have 2 tech savvy boys who remind me each day the value and importance of technology in our world today. My background is a mix of HR and Education. For 6 years, I was the owner of a Kumon Math and Reading center in which I helped many students maximize their true potential with their academics. Then I went on to do Tech Recruiting for startups across California. One consistent feedback I received from the software engineers, developers, and programmers I recruited was that they wished there was a coding school around when they were younger. This feedback led me to opening The Coder School. Coding helps foster creativity as well as builds logical thinking and problem-solving skills - all of which helps them prepare for the future, no matter occupation they choose to go in. I look forward to helping children in the community embrace technology and its impact! Feel free to contact me at dipali@thecoderschool.com
