Hi all! My name is Marcel, and I’m a co-owner and general manager at theCoderSchool Encinitas. I’ve spent my career working on the trading floor, where I saw firsthand how quickly computers were replacing traders and dramatically changing the way we worked. I was lucky to have received computer science education during my BA in Engineering and my MBA at Columbia Business School, and I have no doubt that high-quality coding instruction is a key tool for critical jobs of the future. Since 2017, I have been directly involved in the day to day of theCoderSchool North San Diego along with my wife, Renata, and we see that learning coding really changes the way kids think and problem solve.
