MrBeast (yes it’s spelled that way!) is the most popular YouTuber in the world! Known for his creative video content; stunts and humor. If you’ve never heard of MrBeast; just ask your kids who he is! In our MrBeast Camp we’ll be teaching the kids how to brainstorm ideas; plan; shoot and edit their own MrBeast-style video ready to publish on YouTube. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. Though not a prerequisite; if your child has been to our YouTube Studio Camp in the past; you can think of this camp as the sequel to that one! In our K-Pop Demon Hunters Roblox Coding Camp; kids will code their own demon-hunting adventure in Roblox inspired by the fearless heroine Rumi! They'll learn Roblox Studio and Lua scripting to build a 3D simulation with custom characters; enemy AI; and magical abilities. Campers will design interactive environments; from neon-lit streets to mystical realms; while programming combat systems; health mechanics; and special attacks. They'll also integrate K-Pop inspired music and sound effects into their worlds to complete the vibe. Our ‘Python & A.I. Bootcamp’ is designed for kids who are new to Python and Artificial Intelligence or A.I. We spend the camp teaching kids the fundamentals of the Python programming language and we introduce them to Google Teachable Machine which teaches them how to train and build their own A.I. models; it’s really incredible! Python is one of the hottest computer programming languages in the world and it's used in everyday applications. Welcome to our site! My name is Kim and I am Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in Johns Creek and East Cobb. I truly believe that for a child to develop into a successful adult they must be challenged to think critically and problem solve; skills that will help them master ANY topic. I was drawn to theCoderSchool philosophy because it emphasizes the development of these skills while teaching kids to code in an environment where they are encouraged to learn and create.
With a PhD in Community Psychology, my research has primarily focused on youth development. I have spent over 15 years providing organizational and database development consulting services to non-profit organizations across the nation. I look forward to using my experience to help create the next generation of leaders.

Hello! My name is Jerry and I am Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in Johns Creek and East Cobb. Growing up I loved to play video games, but my mother would always tell me that I should learn how to create video games - not just play them. I took her advice and studied Computer Engineering in college which taught me circuit design and coding and led me to a career spent leading teams that have built applications on mobile PC’s, websites, desktop computers and smartphones. I credit my career success to my mother's early advice, to always learn what’s happening behind the scenes. My wife Kim and I are excited to bring this approach to learning technology to kids in the Johns Creek area with theCoderSchool and believe it will unlock a world of opportunity for them to thrive in our technology-driven society.
