Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Using a Scratch-like block language and Python, campers will get hands-on with drone programming right from their laptops, all set up on-site with our own hotspot. LEGOs are a great way to teach kids logic and the fundamentals of mechanical engineering in addition to coding, and they’re also GREAT for kids who love to express themselves creatively. Kids will learn about lighting, mics, video camera recording and operations, as well as how to use video editing software to mix their own creations together. We'll also teach them about audio as well as special effects. At the end of the camp each kid will have their very own video content they'll be proud to upload to their own YouTube channel! | 7/7-7/11 | In-Person | Battlebots Advanced Robotics Camp In the Battlebots Advanced Robotics camp kids will get a hands-on mechanical assembly and coding experience! In this camp we’ll be using the MakeBlock mBot Mega Advanced Robot. This is one of the most advanced robots we teach and it’s best suited for kids who have taken one of our other robotics camps. This camp will combine assembling the robot from scratch and will introduce kids to some electronics and mechanical sensors along the way. Once we’ve assembled the bots we’ll code them in Scratch and Arduino C to battle each other in fun competitive games! In our new YouTube Studio camp we show kids how to create their own YouTube video content using our professional YouTube recording studio equipment! Kids will learn about lighting, mics, video camera recording and operations, as well as how to use video editing software to mix their own creations together. We'll also teach them about audio as well as special effects. At the end of the camp each kid will have their very own video content they'll be proud to upload to their own YouTube channel!
