Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. We would be using Scratch, Python, Lua, Minecraft Java or even Unity to build games that we can create and also let our friends play. Kids LOVE watching their favorite Youtubers play games, as well as making videos documenting their crazy lives or family. In our new YouTube Studio camp we show kids how to CREATE their own YouTube video content using our professional YouTube recording studio equipment! Kids will learn about lighting, mics, video camera recording and operations, as well as how to use video editing software to mix their own creations together. We’ll also teach them about audio as well as special effects. At the end of the camp each kid will have their very own video content they’ll be proud to upload to their own YouTube channel! In our Animation Studio Camp we’ll use a browser based tool to teach the kids how to create their own custom 2D Sprites and then we’ll teach them to use these sprites to create their own animated shorts, complete with sound effects and their own voice overs! Using Roblox Studio we’ll be teaching the kids how to write code in the Lua programming language that will allow them to create their own players, environments and mini games! We’ll also teach them how to take their games online and about game design theory which makes games challenging and adds the element of fun that keeps players coming back again and again! | 8/19-8/23 | Full Day | Summer Break Intro to ChatGpt camp Imagine a future where people don't code anymore. Instead, we tell machines what we want and they create the apps for us. Pretty cool future, isn't it? We're not quite there yet, but with ChatGPT we can start learning about how to create games by giving specific instructions to ChatGpt. We will learn how to interact with ChatGPT and have it produce a game we can run in our web browser. We will focus on how we can use ChatGPT to create code for almost any programming language, including Python, Scratch, Unity, and Java. Students are requested to carry their own Mac or PC. | 8/26 - 8/30 | Full Day | Summer Break Mixed Bag Coding camp This is a mixed bag camp with a new theme on coding and tech everyday. So while one day we would be working on Scratch/ Python and Game design, another day we could be working on animation shorts using flip book or stop motion technique. We would culminate the camp by learning how to make our own videos working on video and audio editing skills and learning how to use the green screen. Don't forget to show up on the last day as our campers demonstrate their projects with pride. Students are encouraged to bring their own Windows or Mac laptops.
