Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. A large part of the content in the Metaverse will be in Virtual Reality and we want our kids to get a headstart in this new technology. We’ve created a one of a kind coding curriculum for kids that they can play in VR using one of our Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets. Normally coding in VR is complicated and only available for advanced kids but we’ve got something for kids who just need some basic programming knowledge beforehand. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. Scratch Camp kids Start with a hand-drawn sketch of their favorite movie or TV hero, campers will use cutting-edge artificial intelligence to refine their artwork. Next, they'll bring their characters to life in a coding project as interactive sprites. Also during this camp, the kids will get a chance to use our Oculus headset to create their own sculptures and artwork in virtual reality that they can then export and print on our 3D printer! We spend the camp teaching kids the fundamentals of the Python programming language and we introduce them to Google Teachable Machine which teaches them how to train and build their own A.I. models, it’s really incredible! Python is one of the hottest computer programming languages in the world and it's used in everyday applications. We love Python because it’s also one of the easiest languages for kids to learn because of its simplicity.
