Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, theCoderSchool believes every kid is unique, and we treat them that way. Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. If you’ve never heard of MrBeast, just ask your kids who he is! In our MrBeast Camp we’ll be teaching the kids how to brainstorm ideas, plan, shoot and edit their own MrBeast-style video ready to publish on YouTube. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. | 5/28-5/31 | In-Person | Welcome to Dunwoody - Roblox Coding Camp In our ‘Welcome to Dunwoody - Roblox Coding Camp’ we’ll teach the kids to build their own social RPG game in Roblox Studio based in our Dunwoody & Sandy Springs community! Popular games like Adopt Me, Brookhaven RP and MeepCity are all examples of social RPG games in Roblox that are about gaming and sharing an experience with other players. We’ll start by teaching them the fundamentals of Roblox Studio, then we’ll create a map of Dunwoody & Sandy Springs and model playable assets like characters and houses etc. to be used within the game. We’ll use the Lua scripting language to code in logic and automation and then we’ll show the kids how to give each other’s game a test run!
