Our camps generally have a low-ratio of students per coach. Ask your location for specifics as it can vary. Camp instructors are Code Coaches® who have successfully gone through our onboarding process and are coders that know how to teach coding skills to kids. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Welcome to the ultimate showdown with our 'Roblox vs. Minecraft Camp'! Kids will use the power of Roblox Studio to design their very own Minecraft-style game; blending the best of both worlds with Roblox’s development tools and Minecraft’s iconic blocky fun. They’ll learn everything from Minecraft-style terrain and block systems to player mechanics and world generation; creating their own take on what makes Minecraft so addictive. In our LEGO Masters Camp we use popular LEGO coding kits such as the Mindstorms and Spike Essentials to teach kids to build some awesome creations and to program them with Scratch to perform cool tricks and even some Artificial Intelligence or A.I.! LEGOs are a great way to teach kids logic and the fundamentals of mechanical engineering in addition to coding; and they’re also GREAT for kids who love to express themselves creatively. In Roblox Game Studio: Build & Publish; kids go beyond just playing Roblox — they learn to BUILD their own Roblox games from scratch and actually publish them for friends and family to play! Using Roblox Studio and Lua programming; campers will design game worlds; code interactive gameplay; create characters; and learn about game mechanics. We'll be using a cool drag n' drop language called Scratch to create some awesome new and classic games! Aimed at our newbie and novice coders with little or no experience creating games in Scratch so we can go at their pace! In this camp we’ll be using Minecraft Education Edition along with our favorite programming language Python! Python is extremely powerful yet easy to read compared to other programming languages; so it’s perfect for kids who are ready for a typed programming language. We know the kids love Minecraft so what better way to teach them to code than doing so on the platform they already know and play!During breaks we’ll let the kids play our Nintendo Switch to compete in Super Smash Bros. tournaments. Minecraft is a kid builders dream; but what if we can make some of those dreams a reality? In the Minecraft 3D Print Camp we’ll teach the kids to build some complex projects together in Minecraft and then we’ll save them in a format that can be printed in a smaller form using a 3D printer. Your kid loves Pokemon AND Roblox? Say less. In our Pokemon VR camp kids will use Roblox Studio to build their own creature-collecting game from scratch; we're talking custom monsters; battle systems; evolution mechanics; the whole thing. Then here's where it gets WILD: they put on our Meta Quest VR headsets and literally walk through the world they just built in full virtual reality. No other coding school in Atlanta is doing this. Roblox and Super Smash Bros. go together like peanut butter and jelly! Ok maybe not LOL; but we’re going to MAKE THEM go together in our Roblox vs. Super Smash Bros. camp. We will use the powerful video game engine for Roblox called Roblox Studio to create a Super Smash Bros-style video game! Super Smash Bros and Roblox are probably the top 2 games kids play on breaks at our school so this is a way to merge the two into a fun coding experience we guarantee they’ll love! Our Robots & Roblox camp teaches kids about robotics and coding using the awesome mBot coding robot. Kids will assemble their own robot kit and we'll code them using Scratch to create some entry level artificial intelligence and we'll have some robot competitions they'll love. At lunch each day the kids will play their favorite Roblox games together and they can try our Oculus Quest 2 headsets to play some incredible games in Virtual Reality! Step into the world of Pokémon and become the coder behind your own adventure! In this fun and beginner-friendly camp; students will use Scratch to design their very own turn-based Pokémon battles; complete with custom sprites; health bars; and evolving characters.Throughout the week; kids will bring their favorite Pokémon to life through drag-and-drop block coding. They'll animate movement; build attacks with sound and logic; and create pixel-style worlds where players explore; battle; and collect. In the Battlebots Advanced Robotics camp kids will get a hands-on mechanical assembly and coding experience! In this camp we’ll be using the MakeBlock mBot Mega Advanced Robot.This is one of the most advanced robots we teach and it’s best suited for kids who have taken one of our other robotics camps. This camp will combine assembling the robot from scratch and will introduce kids to some electronics and mechanical sensors along the way. Once we’ve assembled the bots we’ll code them in Scratch and Arduino C to battle each other in fun competitive games!
