Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, theCoderSchool believes every kid is unique, and we treat them that way. Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. A large part of the content in the Metaverse will be in Virtual Reality and we want our kids to get a headstart in this new technology. We’ve created a one of a kind coding curriculum for kids that they can play in VR using one of our Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets. Normally coding in VR is complicated and only available for advanced kids but we’ve got something for kids who just need some basic programming knowledge beforehand. One of the ways companies do this is to employ White Hat Ethical Hackers who look for vulnerabilities in their company’s network so they can be fixed before the bad guys find them! During our White Hat Ethical Hacking camp, we’ll teach teens the fundamentals of cybersecurity and how to ethically hack simple networks! Windows computer is required, no Macs or tablets. Yes we’ve all been there, and to solve a Rubik's Cube it can be tricky unless you know the algorithm to do so, and we do! In the ‘Cubing & Coding Python A.I. Camp’ we’ll teach kids how to solve a real Rubik's Cube using an algorithm, or a list of steps and we’ll be teaching them how to code an application in Python to solve a virtual Rubik's Cube through Artificial Intelligence or A.I. If you’ve never heard of MrBeast, just ask your kids who he is! In our MrBeast Camp we’ll be teaching the kids how to brainstorm ideas, plan, shoot and edit their own MrBeast-style video ready to publish on YouTube. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. Though not a prerequisite, if your child has been to our YouTube Studio Camp in the past, you can think of this camp as the sequel to that one! In this camp we’ll be using the MakeBlock mBot Mega Advanced Robot. This is one of the most advanced robots we teach and it’s best suited for kids who have taken one of our other robotics camps. This camp will combine assembling the robot from scratch and will introduce kids to some electronics and mechanical sensors along the way. Once we’ve assembled the bots we’ll code them in Scratch and Arduino C to battle each other in fun competitive games!
