Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, theCoderSchool believes every kid is unique, and we treat them that way. Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. In this tech-driven world, it’s not uncommon to hear terms like "artificial Intelligence" and "machine learning" flying around. In this course, you’ll learn how to use Python coding to create machine learning models that perform tasks people used to believe were only possible in fantasy worlds. Dive into this developing field using data sets, probability, statistics, and more. If you're excited by the thought of being an Aerospace engineer at NASA or designing the next robotic creation, then you can get a nice start on the right path with our camp. It generally will culminate in a robot competition whether it's racing through a maze or a timed activity. mBot is a STEAM education robot and is the standard robot for this camp. In this camp we’ll be using Minecraft Education Edition along with our favorite programming language Python! Each Games Are Awesome will have different themes.Then our Roblox portion of camp, you will design and create your own 3D worlds. Choosing from a variety of different templates, you can select your type of world and customize your environment. Yes we’ve all been there, and to solve a Rubik's Cube it can be tricky unless you know the algorithm to do so, and we do! In the ‘Cubing & Coding Python A.I. Camp’ we’ll teach kids how to solve a real Rubik's Cube using an algorithm, or a list of steps and we’ll be teaching them how to code an application in Python to solve a virtual Rubik's Cube through Artificial Intelligence or A.I. You’ll build a foundation in 3D modeling—starting from your initial sketch, then creating characters from scratch in Blender, an expansive 3D software used by professionals across the game design and film industries. After you’ve finalized your creations, you’ll print them out into tactile objects that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Stack your desk full of your uniquely hand-crafted prints! Our campers will spend the week designing and building their very own websites and get 'em published to the world by the end of the week. Importantly, kids will be introduced to Internet Safety and why cyber-safety matters, plus we'll learn the basics of how the internet works (wait, you mean that Facebook page lives out in the "cloud" somewhere?!).
