Our camps are all low-ratio, with typically six campers to each instructor. Camp instructors are often our regular year-round Code Coaches® who have lots of experience teaching coding skills to kids throughout the year. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, theCoderSchool believes every kid is unique, and we treat them that way. Our core program revolves around a mentor relationship with experienced coders, Code Coaches who can guide our students through their amazing - and custom - technical journey. Nintendo Game Builder Garage is a new game that has a unique way of teaching kids how to code using their interface. It’s a new twist on learning to code and since it’s from the Nintendo team you know it’s fun! During this camp we’ll teach the kids to code using this gaming platform and we’ll build some fun and playable games that the kids will be able to share with the world via Nintendo’s online network! | 7/15-7/19 | Full Day In-person | Coding with Drones This camp is filled with pure action as campers enjoy drone coding and obstacles! Campers will first learn the basic safety of drone flying. From there, students will learn how to code the drones through skill challenges while also learning how to perform various excercises and maneuvers to become familiar with the drones speed and agility. | 7/22-7/26 | Full Day In-person | YouTube Video Production At YouTube® Camp – Content Creators, learn the exciting process of creating a successful vlog/video for YouTube®! Create a brand, brainstorm a creative format, produce engaging content, and create at least one YouTube®-style video. Utilizing the hands-on format of this course, you’ll learn the skills you need to create your own vlog/video for YouTube®. Sample topics may include Minecraft Tutorials, Pokemon Game Walkthroughs, How-To Videos, Lifestyle Tips, and so much more! | 7/29-8/2 | Full Day In-person | Cubing & Coding - Python A.I. Camp Have you ever tried to solve a Rubik's Cube only to give up after hours of only managing to get one side to match!? Yes we’ve all been there, and to solve a Rubik's Cube it can be tricky unless you know the algorithm to do so, and we do! In the ‘Cubing & Coding Python A.I. Camp’ we’ll teach kids how to solve a real Rubik's Cube using an algorithm, or a list of steps and we’ll be teaching them how to code an application in Python to solve a virtual Rubik's Cube through Artificial Intelligence or A.I. You’ll build a foundation in 3D modeling—starting from your initial sketch, then creating characters from scratch in Blender, an expansive 3D software used by professionals across the game design and film industries. After you’ve finalized your creations, you’ll print them out into tactile objects that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Stack your desk full of your uniquely hand-crafted prints!
